Financial and Insurance

Payment Options

Dr. Ellis, Dr. Lindgren and their staff understand that orthodontic treatment can be costly, and payment for orthodontic treatment needs to be incorporated into your monthly budget. Our goal is to make those payments comfortable for you. We have developed three payment options from which to choose:

  1. Payment in Full – For paying the entire balance of your orthodontic treatment up front, we will offer a 5% discount off of the entire orthodontic fee.
  2. No-Interest In-House Financing – A down payment that is custom tailored to your budget at the beginning of treatment, with the remainder of the balance divided into comfortable monthly payments. And as we stated, this is all interest-free.
  3. Outside Financing through CareCredit® – This option is available for those patients that want to avoid making a down payment or would like to spread their payments over longer time periods like 3, 4 or even 5-year financing. Be aware though, CareCredit does charge an interest rate for this option.
  4. Flexible Spending Plans – For our patient with FSA options through their jobs, we have many payment plan options that allow you to custom tailor your payment schedule to maximize the benefits of your FSA plan. Ask us how we can design a plan perfect for you.

Financing for Large Families

Many families have multiple children in need of orthodontic treatment, sometimes all at the same time. Not only do we have family member discounts, but also our promise to every family is that we will strive to find a financial option that allows you to do what is right for your family without the stress of the financial impact.

Insurance Policy

We are preferred providers for United Concordia, Delta Dental, and MetLife. However we accept all PPO insurance plans and in most cases the benefit is the same for in-network as it is for out-of-network. If your insurance covers orthodontic treatment, you will receive the benefit of reduced personal costs. Many insurance policies have a lifetime orthodontic benefit that is distinct from regular dental insurance. Insurance policies vary, and we will verify your orthodontic benefit as part of the complimentary initial consultation, but we always recommend that patients check with their insurance company to be knowledgeable of the details of their own personal orthodontic coverage.

We will do everything possible to help you understand and make the most of your dental insurance benefits. Once treatment has started, we will complete and submit the forms to your primary dental insurance company to achieve the maximum reimbursement to which you are entitled. We will work diligently to make this happen as quickly as possible.

Please remember that orthodontic insurance is a benefit for you or your child. If, during the course of treatment, your benefits change, the financially responsible party is accountable for all charges.
